How to Receive Cryptocurrency

Receiving Crypto from an external address to your Rain account can be done via a QR code or by using your available address on your Rain account. 

Requirements: 

1. An active Rain account. You will need a Rain account to receive Crypto.
2. You will need to share your relevant coin network address or your QR code. 

If you want to receive crypto, see below for a step by step guide:

Steps (Rain app):

1.  Open the Rain app on your phone.
2. Visit the home page and click on Receive.
3. Choose the coin you want to Receive.
4. Copy the address visible to you at the bottom of the screen or share the QR code. To learn more about the supported networks on Rain click here. 
   
5. Once the transaction is completed, you will see a banner on your portfolio page. Click on the banner.
6. Review the transaction details. Click on "Additional information Required"
7. Input the required information.
8. Lastly, check the box “I confirm the Sender's address belongs to the Sender” and click confirm.
9. You will now have access to your funds.

Steps (Rain website):

1. Log in to your Rain account. 
2. Click on Market.
3. Choose Receive.
4. Choose desired coin address you are receiving to your Rain account.
5. Copy the address visible to you at the bottom of the screen or share the QR code. To learn more about the supported networks on Rain click here. 
6. Once the transaction is completed, you will see a banner on your portfolio page. Click on the banner.
7. Enter the additional information required. Click confirm.
8.  Lastly, check the box “I confirm the Sender's address belongs to the Sender” and click confirm.
9. You will now have access to your funds.
