Receive Chainlink

Receiving Chainlink (LINK) from an external address to your Rain account can be done via a QR code or by using your Rain account Chainlink address. 

 

Requirements: 

  1. Rain account. You will need a Rain account to receive LINK.
  2. Rain LINK address. You will need your Rain LINK address in order to receive LINK.

If you want to receive Chainlink using the Rain app,See below for a step by step guide.

 

NOTE: Please ensure to transfer your LINK through the ERC-20 network only.

 

Steps (Rain website): 

  1. Log in to your Rain account. 
  2. Click on Portfolio.
  3. Click on Receive. 

There are two ways to receive Chainlink in your Rain account, either using your Chainlink Address or a QR code.

Method 1: Using the QR code 

  1. Open your external LINK wallet containing the funds you want to transfer.
  2. Click on the QR code icon in the wallet application.
  3. Hold the device camera over the Rain QR code. 

Method 2: Using your Chainlink address

  1. Copy your Rain LINK address under "Receive to".
  2. Open your external LINK wallet containing the funds you want to transfer.
  3. Paste the address into your external LINK wallet.

NOTE: Chainlink transfers take 10 minutes to 1 hour to arrive. 

Steps (Rain mobile app):

  1. Open the Rain app on your phone. 
  2. Visit the market or portfolio page and select Chainlink
  3. Tap Trade and select Receive

There are two ways to receive Chainlink in your Rain account, either using your Chainlink Address or a QR code.

Method 1: Using the QR code 

  1. Hold the device camera over the Rain QR code. 

Method 2: Using your Chainlink address

  1. Copy your Rain LINK address in the field under "Share your address". 
  2. Open your external LINK wallet containing the funds you want to transfer.
  3. Paste the address into your LINK wallet containing the funds you want to transfer.
