Send Band Protocol

Rain provides an easy way for you to send Band Protocol (BAND) from your account to any BAND address. 

 

Requirements:

  1. Rain BAND account. You will need a positive balance in your Rain BAND account to be able to send.   
  2. Receiving Address. You will need a valid BAND address to send BAND.

NOTES:

  • Please always check whether or not a destination tag or memo is required before sending BAND to any wallet or exchange outside of Rain. 
  • Sending BAND to non BAND addresses is not possible, and will result in irreversible loss of funds.

NOTE: Please ensure to transfer your BAND through the BAND network only.

Steps (Rain website):

  1. Log in to your Rain account. 
  2. Click on Portfolio.
  3. Enter the BAND amount you want to send or equivalent in the currency you have on your Rain account.
  4. Enter the BAND address you are sending the funds to.
  5. Enter the recipient's destination tag.
  6. Select the account you are withdrawing from. Click Preview Send.
  7. Review the information on the Confirm Send page. Click Send Now.
  8. You will receive a code to verify your transaction. Enter the SMS code sent to your phone. Click Submit.

NOTE: BAND should arrive in 10 minutes to an hour, depending on the network condition. You can check the amount of confirmations on your transaction by checking the transaction details. 

Steps (Rain app):

  • Open the Rain app on your phone. 
  • Visit the market or portfolio page and select BAND
  • Tap Trade and select Send 
  • Enter the BAND amount you want to send or equivalent in the currency you have on your Rain account.
  • Enter the BAND address you are sending the funds to or you can scan the QR code.
  •  Enter the recipient destination tag (if required). Click preview purchase.
  • Review the transaction details. Click Send Now.
  • You will receive a code to verify your transaction. Enter the SMS code sent to your phone. Click Submit.

NOTE: BAND should arrive in 10 minutes to an hour, depending on the network condition. You can check the amount of confirmations on your transaction by checking the transaction details.
